We are always looking for people to get involved with the Paddy Mirage project. If you are a band or a DJ and you want to play please e-mail us at
thepaddymirage@gmail.com or
info@burntheirishbar.com
If you are interested in having the Paddy Mirage at your festival or event please contact Mark at
info@junction.ie.
If you wish to contribute artwork to the project, please contact us and we will make the necessary arrangements. All artwork used in the project will be displayed in our online gallery.
We will also be looking for people to travel with us to festivals and help with the construction of the bar. If you think you can help in this capacity, contact one of the team. These people will be required to go abroad at least three days before the beginning of each festival. This is so the bar is ready when each festival begins.
If you want to travel and contribute to the day-to-day running of the bar and gallery this can be done by first contacting one of the team. Responsibilities will include manning the bar and creating the atmosphere for all those visiting us.
People who travel over with the Paddy Mirage will be expected to remain on for a day after the festival has finished to help with the clean up. The motto at Burning Man is 'leave no trace' and every year we intend to do just that. Everyone with the Paddy Mirage will be expected to comply with any rules set out by Burning Man. We all share this responsibility.
Those traveling with the Paddy Mirage to Buring Man, they will be encouraged to get involved with the day to day running of the festival. There are many jobs that need to be done and you can get more information on this at
www.burningman.com. e.g. greeters, lamplighters etc.
If you want to make a contribution to the project or documentary please get in touch with the relevant team member. Relevant information may be found on the contact page.
A word of advice to those intending to make a trip with the Paddy Mirage. There is only a certain amount of people that we can include every year so get in contact early to avoid disappointment. Also cooking for and cleaning up after over 50 people becomes a real problem. It is for this reason that we encourage people to get involved sooner rather than later. There is a lot of work to be done all year and we are not interested in people looking for a free ride.
